Meet the Doctors
P. Randall Eckman, DDS, MAGD
Dr. “Randy” Eckman graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University Pennsylvania with his Biology degree before attending the University of Maryland Dental School, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Randy also served in the US Navy as a Dental Officer from 1981 to 1984. To stay up-to-date of the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, he maintains memberships with numerous professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Association for Functional Orthodontics and the International Association for Orthodontics. Dr. Randy has also received Mastership by the Academy of General Dentistry, which is the highest honor received.
In 2015, Dr. Randy was especially recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry for his commitment to lifelong learning and service to dentistry:

Dr. Randy Eckman has also been involved in athletics since high school. From being part of an Ivy League Champion team at University of Pennsylvania to playing on the All Navy Basketball Team, Dr. Randy carries on his passion for sports. He served on the National AAU Boys Basketball Committee and as Commissioner of the National Championships Wide World of Sports at Disney in 2003.
philip r. Eckman, jr, DDS
Dr. Philip Eckman, Jr. joined his father in practice in 2009. After graduating from Muhlenberg College in 2005 with his Bachelor of Arts, Dr. Eckman Jr. attended the University of Maryland Dental School, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He is a member of such prestigious organizations as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Upon graduation in 2009, Dr. Philip earned his certification from Invisalign. In 2011, he received his Pennsylvania license for conscious sedation (nitrous oxide.)
Dr. Philip is especially passionate about dental implants. He has been trained in the surgical placement of implants and uses 3-D technology to plan and guide his procedures. Dr. Philip meets regularly with peers in the Brandywine Study Club to attend presentations by the industry’s leading specialists.
In 2017, Dr. Philip co-founded an internet service to provide patients with timely and professional dental advice. His website, www.XrayUpload.com allows users to have dental x-rays evaluated by a panel of experienced, licensed dentists at low cost. Visitors from all over the world have received a second opinion through this modern service.
Dr. Eckman Jr. also enjoys sports and was a member of the 2002 Delaware Boys Basketball State Championship Team. He also played basketball at Muhlenberg College.
